This one is an absolute cracker. I'm lost for words as to what I'm seeing here.
Opinion: This looks to me like a straight up eBay Scam.
Now that you've read the listing and looked at the pictures, lets look at some easily verifiable information and compare.
"A survivor car is a classic vehicle that hasn’t been altered in any way since it was built."
"survivor cars must have the original paint job, original interior and parts."

Repeated throughout the eBay listing is the claim that this vehicle is a 1953 transition model.
However, comparing the video by Matthew Garner and the eBay photos of this vehicle with the book "The FJ Holden" written by Leading early Holden historian Don Loffler, a large amount of discrepancies turn up.
Opinion: Because the paint colours were not available before 1956 this car is NOT a "1953 transition model" model. It never has been and never will be.
But now we have only one unanswered question. The pillar plate that was only fitted to some FX & FJ Holdens during a very short period in 1953. Scott Garner claims that this car has one...
Opinion: As Scott Garner has not attached a photo of his "Tacked In Pillar Plate" on his eBay listing, nor has he supplied any evidence of his "Verification by a South Australian Expert" it is my opinion that this car is not a 1953 Transition Survivor, but instead it's just a rusty, heavily modified, poorly repainted 1956 FJ Special.
Opinion: With so many discrepancies in the eBay listing, it is my opinion that this is nothing more than a scam and an attempt to defraud a potential buyer.
